Wellbeing of Women is the official charity partner of BMI Women’s Health.

About Wellbeing of Women

Founded in 1964, Wellbeing of Women is the only UK charity dedicated to solving all the health problems that only affect women.

Working in close partnership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Wellbeing of Women funds medical research into specific health conditions ranging from heavy periods, endometriosis and incontinence, to gynaecological cancers including cervical and ovarian cancer. Additionally, the charity funds training grants for doctors as they develop specialist research expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Wellbeing of Women also provides information to the general public; via campaigns such as the Healthy Woman Campaign, events such as the WoW Show and our website and publications. A key objective for Wellbeing of Women is to empower women with knowledge about their bodies and help them live life to the full.

Wellbeing of Women and BMI Women’s Health – working in partnership

BMI Healthcare is a longstanding partner of Wellbeing of Women and provides generous support to the charity’s research programme and awareness campaigns. As part of our partnership, Wellbeing of Women provides top quality health information to BMI Hospitals and BMI staff across the country also enjoy getting dressed up on National Purple WoW Day, raising much needed funds for this excellent cause.
