Competent in performing therapeutic procedures including level 3 polypectomy and EMR (endoscopic mucosal resection) for colon polyps. His endoscopy performance is monitored by local NHS Trust, National Endoscopy Database and Bowel Cancer Screening programme, that shows his key performance indices above national average. Has excellent reports on safety profile and comfort score. Trains gastroenterology registrars for GI endoscopy.

With more than 20 years of experience and managing these conditions in outpatient clinics with incorporation of different treatment modalities to improve quality of life.
Dr Aamir Sajjad has extensive experience of managing inflammatory bowel disease (Ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease) having done dedicated inflammatory bowel disease clinics in Coventry and leading IBD MDT in local NHS Trust.
