Personal Profile
Mr Evans primary interests include the management of acute fractures and their complications, including deformity correction and post-traumatic reconstruction. He also has an interest in the management of chronic pelvic pain following pregnancy.
Mr Evans graduated from the University of Wales Collage of Medicine in 1997. He undertook basic surgical training in South Wales, before embarking on higher surgical training in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham and at the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire. He completed his training with a fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma and Adult Reconstruction at the prestigious Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, sub-specialising in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery.
Mr Evans has a higher degree in orthopaedic engineering and has published textbook chapters on hip fractures and dislocations and on pelvic fracture reconstruction.
Mr Evans is a fluent Welsh speaker.
