Amrita Mahal is a Consultant Speech & Language Therapist with 18 years clinical experience within the NHS and  private health care. Amrita is able to offer a wide range of specialist, evidence based  therapeutic techniques within a wide range of swallowing, voice and communication needs. 

Clinical Interests

  • Dysphagia (impairment of swallow as a result of long-term neurological conditions or acquired brain injury)
  • Dysphonia - clinical voice disorders secondary to medical conditions, functional voice use and voice in professional practice
  • A wide range of speech, language and communication disorders including stammering, slurred speech and transgender voice & communication (voice feminisation).
