Personal Profile
Dr Andrew Allard is a Consultant Rheumatologist employed at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases (RNHRD), part of the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHSFT.
He attended Cambridge University and University College London during his undergraduate training and completed his rheumatology specialty training in the Severn region.
He looks after patients with inflammatory rheumatological conditions and has sub-speciality interests in rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and musculoskeletal ultrasound. He is also the departmental Rheumatoid Arthritis Lead and is the Principle Investigator for Clinical Trials in Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Dr Allard has a strong interest in medical education. He is the Post-graduate Education Lead for Rheumatology in Bath and is the clinical representative on the Education and Engagement Committee for the Bath Institute for Rheumatic Diseases (BIRD).
