Mr Pearse specialises in all aspects of knee surgery including:
- Arthroscopic knee surgery
- Ligament reconstruction
- Total knee replacement
- Surgical management of arthritis in the younger patient including osteotomy and Patellar stabilisation procedures
Mr Pearse has worked closely with elite sports teams and has a large sports medicine network.
Originally from Worcestershire, Mr Pearse trained in Manchester and took an international Fellowship in Sports and Reconstructive Knee Surgery at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He has worked as a consultant at the renowned Wrightington Hospital before returning to the area with his family.
Mr Pearse is a national and international lecturer, course facilitator and faculty member for primary and revision ligament reconstruction and meniscal surgery.
He has a keen interest in research and audit, having published work in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international meetings
