Personal profile
She has been a GP for over 10 years and holds the letter of competence in subdermal contraceptive implant techniques. She has always had an interest in women's health, with GP training jobs in obstetrics and gynaecology and sexual health, and while working as a GP she saw that there was an unmet need to support women struggling with the perimenopause and menopause. Seeing the vast array of physical impacts and hearing the stories of these women inspired her to undertake the Advanced Certificate in the Principles and Practice of Menopause Care with the British Menopause Society. As well as her work with My Menopause Centre, she also works in an NHS specialist menopause clinic.
Dr Greaves looks forward to each of her consultations and is passionate about supporting and educating women at this stage in their lives. She firmly believes in taking a holistic approach, including addressing lifestyle factors such as diet, sleep and exercise alongside any medications that may help, hormonal or otherwise. She strives to encourage women to take back control of their own health and wellbeing and looks forward to walking alongside you on that journey.
