At Goring Hall Hospital and The London Independent Hospitals, he can see patients for gallbladder diseases, groin and abdominal wall hernia repair including hiatus hernias. Mr Dixit has undertaken over 500 inguinal hernia repairs as well as over 100 complex incisional hernias, 60-70% of which have been completed laparoscopically (keyhole surgery). He also treats acid reflux disorders and does upper gastrointestinal endoscopy. Mr Dixit offers a non-surgical weight loss procedure known as the Elipse™ gastric balloon. Mr Dixit performs complex weight loss surgery at The London Independent Hospital and is happy to consult weight loss patients at Goring Hall Hospital.
He trained in teaching hospitals in London and did fellowship in bariatric surgery at The Homerton Hospital. He also spent some time at one of the best bariatric units in Europe at Brugge, Belgium. He was Consultant Bariatric Surgeon at Homerton Hospital for a year before being appointed as Consultant Surgeon and University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.

Mr Dixit has published and presented extensively both nationally and internationally on various topics in bariatric and upper GI surgery. He believes in a holistic approach towards patient care through comprehensive assessment, appropriate surgery, aftercare and support.
