Personal Profile
Dr Venkataraman graduated from India in 1980 and also did his MD in cardiac effects of yellow oleander poisoning (1985). He came to UK in 1986 and had his training in interventional cardiology from Walsgrave Hospital, Coventry. He has been working as a consultant cardiologist from 1994.
He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of UK. Dr Venkataraman is the lead for consultants within the Cardiology Team at George Eliot Hospital, where he provides a comprehensive cardiac service and care to the local population.
He is also the Honorary Associate Clinical Professor at the Warwick Medical school and is keen on undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. He is also the Principal Investigator for several Clinical trials run within the department.
