Personal Profile
Mr Christopher Rodger undertook his undergraduate medical education at the University of Glasgow. His postgraduate surgical training was in Glasgow and Toronto, Canada. He spent one year at the University of Toronto for specialist colorectal training as the Lew Dunn Colorectal Fellow. During this time he had advanced training in all aspects of colorectal disease with a particular focus on inflammatory bowel disease at the world respected IBD unit in Mount Sinai Hospital.
Mr Rodger currently practices as a general and colorectal surgeon in Forth Valley Royal Hospital and Kings Park Hospital where he manages both general surgical and specialist colorectal problems.
He has particular interest in colonoscopy, the surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease and laparoscopic colorectal surgery.
