Personal Profile
Dr Kelly graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1991 and completed 10 years of specialist training in Endocrinology in the West of Scotland. His MD thesis on Insulin resistance in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome was awarded in 2002 from the University of Glasgow.
Dr Kelly was appointed as a Consultant and Honorary Senior Lecturer in 2002. Since taking up post he was lead clinician in Forth Valley for the Diabetes Network between 2003-2008, and has developed a multidisciplinary approach to health care delivery. He has major interests in Thyroid disease, Obesity and Diabetes management. He also actively collaborates with the University of Stirling’s School of Sport in metabolic research.
