Professional profile
I am Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon and hold the British Diploma in Hand surgery. As a Consultant at the Royal Berkshire NHS Trust, I manage patients with Hand conditions such as arthritis (base of thumb, wrist, hand small joint), tendon conditions (trigger finger and thumb and De Quervains), nerve compression neuropathies (carpal and cubital tunnel), Dupuytren’s disease and manage hand trauma.
I trained to be a doctor at Bristol Medical school and completed my Orthopaedic training in London followed by fellowships in Australia (Brisbane and Sydney) and London (Chelsea and Westminster). I am involved in teaching the next generation of Orthopaedic doctors, both as an NHS Consultant and also invited to teach in various faculties. I am enthusiastic about research and have a research-based MSc and am involved in current clinical research.
