Dr Claire Rigby

Dr Claire Rigby has worked as an NHS GP in the Bath area since 1997. She has also worked caring for Private GP patients in Gloucestershire.

Claire graduated from St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College in 1991. She gained experience in Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT(ear nose and throat), Dermatology, Accident and Emergency, ITU and Obstetrics and Gynaecology before qualifying as a GP in 1997.
She has completed diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Sexual and Reproductive health.

Claire believes in a holistic approach to patient care taking into account the important aspects of diet, exercise, lifestyle and mental health and well-being .
She has special interests in weight management, diet and menopause.

Outside of work Claire enjoys cold water swimming, spending time with her family and walking her dogs.
