I trained at King's College Hospital in London. My first job as a doctor was at The Royal surrey County Hospital where I developed my interest in surgery. My higher surgical training was in the SW Thames region and at St Thomas' Hospital, London, where I completed a Fellowship in endovascular aortic surgery. I was appointed consultant at Frimley Park Hospital 6 years ago and received an honorary contract to provide vascular surgery at The Royal Surrey last year.
I have an interest in a wide range of vascular diseases and started the endovascular program in West surrey. We were one of the first groups in this country to treat varicose veins with lasers (EVLT).Outside medicine, I enjoy time with my wife and three young children. I play the piano (badly) and having retired from playing football and cricket, now enjoy long distance cycling.
