She is a highly qualified and dedicated General Practitioner, bringing over a decade of experience to her practice. As well as being experienced in providing an excellent general practitioner service she has a passion and expertise in providing access to a high quality women’s health service. Dr Misra-Sharp is dedicated to championing better menopause care, striving to support women through their reproductive and menopausal journeys. Her expertise extends to fitting and removing contraceptive coils and implants and providing a holistic approach to women’s health needs
Graduating from the University of Nottingham Graduate Medicine Program in 2010, she completed her specialist training in Glasgow before being awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners (FRCGP) in recognition of her outstanding contributions to General Practice and Women’s Health.
With a firm commitment to providing healthcare services that support women to manage their health needs she completed additional specialised training at the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Her passion for providing comprehensive care has led her to focus extensively on menopause management. She holds the Advanced Certificate in Principles and Practice of Menopause Care from the British Menopause Society, is one of only 150 recognised menopause trainers with the British Menopause Society and is on the BMS register of Menopause Specialists, being among only 240 registered specialists in the UK.
In her spare time, Dr Misra-Sharp enjoys indulging in literary pursuits, with a passion for reading novels. She also embraces an active lifestyle, often found exploring the city on her e-bike during her leisure time.
