Personal Profile

Miss Emma Hoskison is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire. After qualifying from the University of Cambridge with a distinction in Surgical finals in 2004, Miss Hoskison underwent basic surgical training and then undertook her training as an ENT registrar in the East and West Midlands including the QMC Nottingham, the QE Birmingham and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Miss Hoskison was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2016 and after completing her training, received Fellowship training in Sydney, Australia based at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. 

During her training, she commenced a PhD on the safety of middle ear pellets and was awarded this by the University of Nottingham in 2019. She was awarded the Xomed Treace Prize for this research in 2013.

Miss Hoskison has been a substantive consultant for over 5 years and her practice covers all aspects of ENT with a specialist interest in otology and balance.
