Personal profile
Miss Emma Mulgrew completed her medical school training at the University of Liverpool and her orthopaedic surgery training was undertaken in Greater Manchester. Her sub-specialist training is in Shoulder and Elbow surgery and she has a keen interest in sport-related injuries and arthroscopic surgery.
Having competed her international level in Taekwondo for several years and acting as the travelling medic with the ITF Taekwondo team, this gave her a unique insight to the needs of sports players at all levels.
Miss Mulgrew is involved in teaching and training junior surgeons at many levels, teaching within the NHS and having links with the University of Salford and now establishing them with the University of Bolton.
