Mr George Verghese is a Consultant Orthopaedic & Spinal Surgeon, with over 15 years of experience.
After qualification as a doctor from the Armed Forces’ Medical College in India, Mr. Verghese has trained widely in Orthopaedics and has gained considerable specialist expertise in Spinal Surgery, which forms the majority of his Orthopaedic practice.
He is Fellowship trained for Spinal Surgery from Oswestry, and for Joint Replacement (hip and knee) from Wrightington, both centres of excellence and of historical significance for Orthopaedics globally.
Mr Verghese also retains a keen interest in Trauma Surgery and is active on the Faculty of the AO, apart from being an Orthopaedic Trainer with the London Deanery. He also undertakes consultations regarding Hip and Knee Replacements and the management of Complex Musculoskeletal Trauma.
Mr Verghese is a member of the British Association of Spinal Surgeons (BASS) and the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA).
