Personal Profile
Dr Trevelyan is trained in general and interventional cardiology. He was appointed as a consultant in 2006 and started the coronary angioplasty service at Worcestershire Royal Hospital in 2008, which now treats over 1,000 patients per year including emergency heart attack patients.
He trained in the West Midlands and New Zealand, and is trained in angioplasty from both the femoral and radial routes. As a National Heart Research Fund fellow he completed his MD at the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire and the University of Warwick in 2002. He is a BSE accredited echocardiographer.
Dr Trevelyan specialises in General Cardiology and has a sub-speciality interest in coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (angioplasty), echocardiography and trans-oesophageal echocardiography.
