Dr Kaustubh Nisal is a renowned Consultant Endocrinologist who has been practicing at the Nottingham University Hospitals for the past 10 years as a specialist. Having completed his post graduate studies in medicine in one of the most prestigious schools of medicine in India, he relocated to the UK to finish his specialist training in Diabetes and Endocrinology. Dr Nisal has achieved CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Diabetes and Endocrinology and General Medicine. Dr Nisal has undertaken research in diabetes, transgender endocrinology, and antenatal care of endocrinology conditions.
Dr Nisal leads on Type 1 diabetes technology, antenatal diabetes, endocrinology, and adrenal endocrinology. Furthermore, Dr Nisal is the lead endocrinologist at the Nottingham Centre for Transgender Health, whilst supporting the Transgender Endocrinology Care Teams at both Manchester and East of England.
Dr Nisal particularly enjoys classical music, and in his free time likes to play the tabla (Indian drums).
