Personal profile
She is one of a very few specialists to have achieved a Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetics.
Training and Appointment
She qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’s Hospital in 2005 with Distinctions in Basic Medical Science, Clinical Medicine and Clinical Research.
Dr Bye has always enjoyed teaching trainee doctors and GPs. She is well published in the field of ophthalmology and immunology and is the lead author of the book, Basic Sciences for Ophthalmology, published by Oxford University Press in 2013 to help junior doctors pass their ophthalmic surgical exams.
She has undergone extensive aesthetic training with Harley Street Aesthetic Specialists at the Harley Academy in London.
Her dual qualifications as both a GP (MRCGP) and an eye surgeon (MRCOphth) allow her to practice aesthetics holistically through detailed consultations with her patients, in which she pays meticulous attention to detail and advises on the best treatments, with an exceptionally light touch.
Current Practice
Dr Bye has a friendly, approachable nature with fantastic communication skills. She enjoys giving detailed explanations of her treatment plans, and is one of the first Aesthetics Specialists to offer a hospital-based service, enabling onward referrals to specialists in cases where her patients might require more of a surgical approach.
Dr Bye has specialised in the field of aesthetics (non-surgical cosmetic treatments) and cosmetic dermatology. Her goals are to achieve natural-looking results through optimising, rejuvenating and gently enhancing your innate beauty.
