Personal Profile

Dr Mark Ingram is a Consultant Radiologist, with a practice focused on cardiac and chest imaging as well as gynaecological, oncological and paediatric radiology.

Training and Appointment

Dr Ingram graduated from the University of Cambridge (Magdalene College) in 1998, and then completed his medical training at St George’s Hospital Medical School in 2001. He completed his radiology training at St George’s Hospital, with rotational attachments to Great Ormond Street, the Royal Marsden, the Royal National Orthopaedic and Atkinson Morley hospitals, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2008.

Following completion of a Body Imaging Fellowship at St George’s Hospital in 2009, Dr Ingram was appointed Consultant Radiologist at the Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2010.

Teaching

Dr Ingram is Radiology college tutor and educational supervisor at Royal Surrey County Hospital and is responsible for teaching radiology trainees in the Kent, Surrey and Sussex deanery.

He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of Guildford Radiology Group in Surrey.

Current Practice

Dr Ingram is currently the radiology lead for chest imaging at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. He performs CT-guided lung biopsies as well as other image-guided biopsies and drainage procedures.

His other sub-speciality interests include body MRI and CT coronary angiography.
