Personal Profile
Dr Matt Bridges qualified from Leicester Medical School in 1994 and after completing junior training in Northampton and London, joined the North East specialist registrar training scheme in 1999. He obtained a certificate of specialist training in 2004, and has been a full time Consultant Rheumatologist since then. He has been clinical lead for the Rheumatology service at County Durham and Darlington NHS trust since 2014.
Dr Bridges has researched and published papers on a variety of rheumatological conditions, including: rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome and osteoporosis
