Personal Profile
Mr James graduated from Birmingham University School of Medicine in 1992. After 12 years of surgical training in London, Cambridge and Australia he was appointed as a Plastic Surgery NHS Consultant at St Thomas' Hospital, London. He is part of a team providing plastic and reconstructive services to the South East London region.
Mr James undertook his professional training at the famous McIndoe Surgical Centre. He has a full membership of the Medical Protection Society.
Mr James is a specialist in hand and wrist reconstruction as well as facial plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures to the breast and abdominal region. Mr James has published book chapters on plastic and cosmetic surgery and is a trainer in cosmetic surgery and hand and wrist reconstruction for the Royal College of Surgeons.
Mr James believes that an open and honest rapport is the key to providing the patient with the best possible outcome from surgery. He is supported by an outstanding team of therapists, nurses and admin staff to ensure the surgical experience is as stress free as possible.
