Dr Michael Gross trained at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge and The London Hospital. He was awarded his post-graduate degree from The London Chest, Hammersmith, The National, Queen Square (Senior Resident and SR), Royal Free and St Mary’s as a senior registrar.

Dr Gross also worked with Prof PK Thomas during his Doctorate (MD). He is the first in world to report treatment of inflammatory demyelinating disease, which was also the subject of his thesis for MD. 

Dr Gross was appointed a Consultant at Royal Surrey County Hospital in 1990 after his two year Consultant post in Hertfordshire and Royal Free. He was elected Chairman of Neurosciences in 1990-2001. He was shortlisted for the Neurology Team of the Year in 1998 and 1999, based on massive expansion of service, also lead to shortlisting as UK Hospital Doctor of the Year in those two years. 
Dr Michael Gross was the Clinical Director of Major Research Unit for 11 years dealing with headache syndromes, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and fatigue states. 

He has extensive publications, abstracts and presentations at world congresses, local, national and international lecture faculty. He is a member of Forensic Neurosciences Research Group Annual appraisals and revalidated by GMC. Dr Gross lectures regularly to many different organisations and has also given recent talks on how Covid has disrupted our lives.

Dr Gross established neurophysiology services including balance laboratories in every hospital where appointed or consulting (he has accreditation in neurophysiology). Since 2001 he has had a full-time private practice. National and International medicolegal practise. He is involved in many major court matters, as an expert opinion. For many years he instructed by defendants and claimants. Dr Gross opened The Body Factory Rehabilitation Centre in Harrow in 2012, working with 40 therapists who are highly regarded in their specialist fields.

He has worked closely with The Clementine Churchill Hospital in the development of neurological services. He is recognised by all insurers.
