Personal profile
Dr Green qualified at Manchester University in 1992 and completed General Medical Training in and around the Manchester region by 1996.
This was followed by a period of research in a Versus Arthritis fellowship at Leeds University, developing management of very early inflammatory arthritis and secondary osteoporosis.
He then embarked on higher professional training in Rheumatology in the Yorkshire Deanery to complete his training and was appointed as a Consultant at Harrogate and York hospitals in April 2003.
Dr Green continues to contribute to research in inflammatory arthritis, helping to bring new treatments for arthritis to the local community. He is also active in teaching with medical students and as educational supervisor of younger doctors. He is interested in developing digital options to enhance disease management.
