In his role as a consultant in the National Health Service (NHS), Mr Javed performs both cosmetic and reconstructive breast procedures using advanced techniques. These procedures may involve the use of breast implants, dermal substitutes, or the patient's own tissues, depending on the individual case.
Mr Javed's journey to becoming a consultant plastic surgeon started with his completion of plastic surgery training at the Welsh Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery. Following his training, he became a member of the General Medical Council's Specialist register for plastic surgery in the UK in 2020.
To further enhance his skills and knowledge, Mr. Javed pursued additional fellowships in prestigious institutions. He undertook the aesthetic and reconstructive fellowship in breast surgery at the Division of Plastic Surgery, University of British Columbia in Canada. He also completed the University of Adelaide Microsurgery Fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, specializing in microsurgery techniques.
In addition to his fellowships, Mr Javed has further refined his expertise in aesthetic surgery by completing three advanced aesthetic surgery fellowships at renowned private hospitals and clinics in Australia, the UK, and the United States.
Mr Javed is dedicated to advancing the field of plastic surgery and contributes to the scientific community through his publications in national and international peer-reviewed plastic surgery journals. He also actively participates in plastic surgery meetings, where he presents his research and findings.
As an additional academic achievement, Mr Javed holds a Masters in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine from Swansea University, which further demonstrates his commitment to staying at the forefront of advancements in his field.
