Her other major interests include the management of angina, valve disease and heart failure.
Dr Neha Sekhri completed her undergraduate medical degree in India. She undertook formal cardiology research at Queen Mary University, Westfield, and was awarded a PhD for her work on the prognosis of patients presenting with chest pain and angina. This study, which involved the analysis of data from over 10,000 patients has been widely published and has informed national policy decisions.
Her specialist postgraduate training in cardiology was based at Barts Health NHS Trust.
Dr Sekhri was appointed as a Cardiology Consultant to Barts Health NHS Trust in 2012. She is based at The London Chest Hospital and at Newham University hospital. She is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary and Westfield College, London University.
