Personal Profile
Miss Pathi qualified in Medicine from Nagarjuna University, India in 1989. She completed a masters in Gynaecology from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India in 1997, after taking a career break for her family. She then went on to complete a masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a gold medal. She gained extensive clinical knowledge and surgical skills during her masters in India.
She came to the UK in 1998 and completed her CCT in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and was appointed as Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in the UK in 2007. She strengthened her clinical knowledge and surgical skills from India in laparoscopic and vaginal surgery during her training in the UK. She also gained structured training in early pregnancy problems and high risk obstetrics and has established early pregnancy services at Darlington Memorial Hospital. She currently also leads on high risk obstetrics at Darlington Memorial Hospital.
She is currently working as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologists at Darlington Memorial Hospital, CDDFT since 2010. Miss Pathi joined the team at Woodlands Hospital in 2010 and has been a very active member of the establishment with good clinical outcomes, striving for good patient care.
She performs weekly clinics both during the day and evening hours, spread through the week to ensure patients have an opportunity to make convenient appointments. She is available for both telephone and face to face appointments. Miss Pathi performs both major and minor gynaecological services at Woodlands Hospital and also provides outpatient surgical procedures. She has excellent patient feedback at Woodlands Hospital, responds to patient concerns readily and is very approachable.
Miss Pathi speaks various Indian languages, Urdu fluently.
