Personal profile

Mr Bachkangi undertook his specialist training in the East Midlands. He worked in Leicester, Northampton, Kettering and spent three years of his training in Lincoln.

In 2012 he obtained his Diploma from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, and in 2017 he gained membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Mr Bachkangi undertook advanced training skills modules in urogynaecology, pelvic floor surgery and menopause management, and in 2019 he became a recognised Menopause Specialist, managing both peri-menopause and menopause.

He is also interested in research and has several publications. In 2018 he was awarded a PhD from the University of Leicester for his academic work.

Mr Bachkangi is currently a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Queen's Hospital in Burton-on-Trent. He is a member of several professional bodies, including: British Society of

Urogynaecologists, British Menopause Society, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and the International Urogynecological Association.

Mr Bachkangi strives to deliver quality and personalised care to his patients.

In his spare time he enjoys travelling, creative writing and spending time with his family.
