Dr Agrawal has had 25 years experience in Gynaecology and Obstetrics and over 15 years experience in Fertility and Assisted Conception. She is known for her Holistic approach to patient care which focuses not only on the medical issues but the overall being of her patients. She is well known amongst her patients for her kind, sensitive, caring and warm nature.
She received her formal training in Gynaecology and Obsetrics both in UK and in India and in Reproductive Medicine and Assisted Conception at University College Hospital, London where she did her PhD.
She was the Director at London Women’s Clinic & Hallam Medical Centre for several years; the first centre in UK to offer Assisted Reproduction. She has worked with Prof Howard Jacobs who contributed enormously to the field of IVF and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Prof Bob Edwards who pioneered IVF and created the world’s first IVF baby, Prof Stuart Campbell who pioneered the use of Ultrasonography and Prof SL Tan who heads the department of Obs/Gyn at McGill’s University.
She also has an independent practice at the Centre of Reproductive Medicine (CRM London) and at Harley Street in London. She has individually managed over 5000 cycles of IVF/ICSI and more than 7000 insemination treatment cycles over the last 16 years. Rina has published extensively over the years in several international journals. She has over 45 publications; co edited a book on PCOS and has been an invited speaker in over 50 national & international meetings over the years.
Her areas of expertise within the field of Reproductive Medicine are Assisted Conception Technology, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome; Angiogenic factors in reproduction on which her PhD is based, Ovarian Hyperstimulation syndrome, Ovarian Stimulation Protocols and Ultrasonography including Doppler & 3D Ultrasonography.
