Roderick (Rory) Morrison qualified in Dentistry in 1991 from Dundee University. He worked in Orthodontics and Oral Surgery before joining the Maxillofacial Unit at Monklands hospital in Airdrie. After obtaining the Fellowship in Dental Surgery at the RCPS in Glasgow he returned to University in Aberdeen where he completed his MBChB in 1999.
Following basic surgical training in Glasgow he entered the higher surgical training programme in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery now based at the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow. He was appointed as a Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in August of 2007.
