Professional Profile

Mr Dhawan trained at the renowned Oswestry Orthopaedic training programme at Robert Jones Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital and University Hospitals North Midlands. His training involved dealing with simple and complex primary and revision lower limb arthroplasty cases referred to the tertiary care referral centre. After this, Mr Dhawan completed Advanced Hip Fellowship at Southmead Hospital, Bristol, where he further enhanced his skills on revision hip and knee surgery and Prosthetic Joint Infections (PJI).

Prior to Orthopaedic Training, Mr Dhawan completed a Masters at University College London and Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. Mr Dhawan has presented extensively in 40 international and national conferences. He has published 15 articles in peer reviewed journals along with book chapters.

Mr Dhawan is as active member of the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) faculty and teaches regularly at the Royal College of Surgeons and various other hospitals.
