Personal Profile

Mr Roland Etti trained in Neurology in Hull and Birmingham and was appointed Consultant Neurologist at the Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Trust and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham in November 1996. He provided a pre-disease-modifying era Multiple Sclerosis Symptoms management services at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for several years.

Mr Etti was the former Chair of Higher Specialist Training in Neurology for the West and East Midlands and Clinical Lead for Neurology at the Dudley Group of Hospital NHS Trust from 1996 to February 2020.

He has chaired the Calman Training day for Brain Tumours for the West Midlands Specialist Neurology Registrars and a regular lecturer for Neurology to the General and Acute Medicine Trainees for the West Midlands.

Mr Etti was Captain of the UK team that was a Silver medallist at the World Congress of Neurology Tournament of the Mind (Mastermind of Neurology) in Vienna, Austria in 2013 and Gold Medallist in Santiago, Chile in 2015.

He was a member of a 5 persons International Team competing for the coveted NeuroBowl Trophy at the 68th Annual American Academy of Neurology Meeting in Vancouver, Canada 2016 a quiz-based competition of Neurology Knowledge for the best and brightest in Neurology with teams from Canada and the USA.

He enjoys travel with my beloved wife and kids to Cultural, Nature and Wildlife destinations worldwide. Mr Etti enjoys all types of sporting activities, especially Football and also enjoys cooking.

He has had a Private Practice in Neurology since 1997 seeing clients with a wide range of Neurological symptoms with excellent relationships with my Neurosurgical, Neuro-oncology, Neuroradiology, Neurophysiology and Cardiology colleagues.

He endeavours to provide a caring, comprehensive, diligent and Evidence-based approach to the diagnosis and management of people with neurological disorders.
