Dr Shalin Diwanji is a highly esteemed consultant in respiratory and general medicine based in London, with a special focus on conditions such as asthma, chronic cough, airway disease, lung cancer, breathlessness, and bronchoscopy procedures. He has over 18 years of specialist experience and sees private patients at The Clementine Churchill Hospital and Syon. Additionally, he is affiliated with London North West Healthcare NHS Trust, where he serves as the lung cancer lead. 

Dr Diwanji began his medical career by completing his foundation training in India after qualifying in 2006. He then moved to the UK to pursue formal research in respiratory medicine and earned an MD degree in 2010 for his work on non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis. He furthered his training by completing dual higher specialist training in both general (internal) medicine and respiratory medicine at esteemed institutions including London Chest Hospital, The Royal London Hospital, and St Barts Hospital in London. In 2019, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in the UK.

Apart from his medical practice, Dr Diwanji is actively involved in clinical research. He serves as the principal investigator for the PHOSP-COVID trial and as a sub-investigator for the TRIBE study. His contributions to research demonstrate his commitment to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care. He is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and holds memberships with professional organizations such as the European Respiratory Society and the British Thoracic Society.
