Personal Profile
Dr Ayob is a consultant dermatologist in the Nottingham NHS hospitals with expertise in managing in a wide range of dermatological conditions in adults, including eczema, acne, psoriasis, vasculitis/connective tissue diseases, urticaria and skin cancer. In addition to her specialist interest in complex medical dermatology, she is also a member of the specialist Skin Cancer MDT in Nottingham. She is the lead clinician for the biologics service in Nottingham within the NHS.
Dr Ayob graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2006 and completed her medical training in the North-East and Yorkshire regions, gaining membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2010. She subsequently commenced dermatology specialist training in Yorkshire, completing this in 2014. To further strengthen her knowledge of cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology, she recently completed a Master’s degree in Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine with Distinction in 2022. She is fully registered with the General Medical Council and is enrolled on the UK Specialist Register for Dermatology.
She is involved in research within the NHS, and actively participates in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training regionally
