Dr Shruti Goel completed her nephrology training at the Hammersmith and Royal London Hospitals. She was appointed as a Consultant in Nephrology and Acute Medicine at Hillingdon Hospital in 2014. She holds Honorary Consultant posts at Harefield and Hammersmith Hospitals, and currently works at Hillingdon Hospital. Dr Goel is the clinical lead for renal medicine and Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) at Hillingdon Hospital. She is also a member of the LAKIN (London AKI network).
Dr Goel is experienced in all the aspects of the renal medicine including general nephrology, acute and chronic renal failure, hypertension and diabetic nephropathy. She also works at Harefield Hospital and has experience in looking after heart and lung transplant patients with renal problems. She is also experienced in treating acute general medical conditions.
Dr Goel's research has been on Acute Kidney Injury and incidence of thrombosis in diabetic patient with renal transplant. She is actively involved in teaching and delivering talks to GP’s.
