Dr Soumit Singhai is a sought after specialist in Dementia and Memory/Cognitive Disorders and Parkinson’s Disease. 

Dr Singhai’s has developed over his many years experience a specialist interest and expertise in the cognitive and neuropsychiatric problems related to Dementia and also Parkinson’s Disease and has a particular interest in Lewy body Dementia. 

Lewy body Dementia is common cause of Dementia after Alzheimer’s Disease but often under diagnosed and not recognised in routine clinical practice.  

Dr Singhai has a Memory and Brain Health Clinic at The Clementine Churchill which is a specialist private Memory Clinic providing Private Dementia assessment for patients in London and surrounding areas. 

This Private Memory Clinic led by Dr Singhai provides expedited fast track Dementia diagnosis and subtyping of Dementia into the different 
causes of Dementia so that a personalised management plan can be created to improve quality of life and prognosis. 

Dr Singhai also works with a Multi Professional Team which provides an integrated approach to care with access and input from other health specialists when needed.The team of experts includes a Cognitive Nutritional Specialist, Clinical Neuropsychologist, Neuroradiologist, Sleep Expert and Parkinson’s Disease Nurse Specialist.

Dr Singhai undertook his undergraduate training at Kings College, University of London, qualifying in 1995. He completed his postgraduate higher specialist training in North London which provided excellent training and has dual specialist accreditation in General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. 

Dr Singhai’s work in the field of Parkinson’s disease has been recognised as an example of best practice by Parkinson’s UK and he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in 2016 which is recognition of excellence and innovation in the field of medicine. 

He is actively involved in teaching and training and is a Royal College of Physician’s Examiner for the PACES clinical examination for trainee doctors and sits regularly on Consultant Appointment Interview Panels as as the Royal College of Physician’s Representative. 

Dr Singhai is a national and international speaker on Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia at conferences and meetings.
