He has avid interests in research and training. Mr Masudi is the Principal Investigator of an international, multi-centric ATNEC Trial. Besides being part of the national collaborative on localisation techniques in breast surgery, he has been instrumental in setting up regional biannual South Yorkshire Breast Meetings.
He is credited for introducing Magseed as a localisation method in Yorkshire for patients presenting with impalpable breast cancers.
Mr Masudi is closely involved in teaching, training and mentoring in his capacity as an educational and clinical supervisor in the NHS. He is the lead clinician at Rotherham Breast Unit and provides assessment and management of both benign and malignant breast conditions, including cancer.
