Training and Appointment
Mr Harb completed his undergraduate medical training in the South East of England, before undertaking his specialist orthopaedic training on the South-East Thames rotation, working at some of London's most illustrious university teaching hospitals.
He trained with highly eminent and world-renowned orthopaedic surgeons and completed two prestigious fellowships, in complex trauma and limb reconstruction surgery at the Rowley Bristow Unit, Ashford & St Peter's Hospitals where he trained in the application of Ilizarov circular external fixation and the treatment of complex trauma, non-union and deformity correction. He subsequently completed a specialist foot & ankle surgery fellowship at Guy's and St Thomas’ Hospitals, London.
Mr Harb is a member of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS), the British Limb Reconstruction Society (BLRS), and The Orthopaedic Trauma Society (OTS).
Along with the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from the Joint Committee on Surgical Training (JCST), Mr Harb has a number of qualifications, including the FRCS (Tr & Orth), and diplomas in sports & exercise medicine and in the science of trauma & orthopaedics.
Research and Publications
He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed international medical journals and is actively involved in the teaching and training of medical students and junior doctors. He is an assigned educational supervisor (AES) for orthopaedic surgical trainees, faculty member on a number of national courses, and has presented at various national and international conferences and meetings including at the BOA, BOFAS, BLRS, and Royal Society of Medicine.
