Personal Profile

Meet Mr. Ud-Din, a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special focus on primary and revision hip replacement, robotic hip and knee arthroplasty, metastatic bone disease, and complex trauma. He began his medical journey in 2003 and underwent training in general and plastic surgery before specializing in orthopaedics. This diverse background enriches his approach to patient care.

Mr. Ud-Din, who moved to the UK in 2010, completed his orthopaedic training in the Poole and Bournemouth area. He has earned prestigious fellowships in hip and knee arthroplasty from the Royal College of Surgeons, England (2021) and a diploma in orthopaedic oncology from Oxford University.

With additional fellowships in hip arthroplasty, hip preservation, and revision hip replacement, Mr. Ud-Din began his role as a consultant at Oxford University Hospital in November 2021. He's passionate about educating the future generation of orthopaedic surgeons, regularly engaging with medical students from Buckingham and Warwick medical schools.

Mr. Ud-Din performs, on average, over 250 hip replacement and more than 100 knee replacement annually as well as 40 revision hip replacements with excellent results.

His dedication to research has led to numerous presentations at national and international conferences. Mr. Ud-Din is committed to providing the best possible care and solutions for your orthopaedic needs.
